LEGO League!
Every year, school age children around the world, battle against the clock to complete the set challenges and score the highest points in FIRST Lego League Challenge. The robots are not all of the pieces of the puzzle, for months the teams have been working behind the scenes, challenging their young minds to refine an innovation project in line with the seasons theme and develop technical and social skills that will carry them forward throughout their lives.
Teams are scored equally on 4 basic criteria over the competition:
- Performance in the robot games
- Gracious Professionalism and Coopertition
- Presentation of an Innovation project
- Design and engineering of the competing robot.
This year 's theme is 'UNEARTHED' and we look forward to discovering what the students bring to the field, as we approach the finals season.
